The non profit is in honor of the late David Waldron's amazing fight against this awful disease. His mission was to seek treatment in hopes of helping someone else. Early Race Packet Pickup: Pre-registered runners can pick up bibs with T-shirts and capes at Allen & Allen Funeral Home (110 West Hansell Street Thomasville, GA) on Friday May 1, 2015 from 8 – 1p.m.

Race will start at Thomas University, 1501 Millpond Road Thomasville, GA 31792 and will proceed down Millpond Road. There will be a turn point and will finish at 1501 Millpond Road. Parking will be at Thomas University.

5K – 8:00 a.m. Start Time
1 mile Fun Run – 9:00 a.m. Start Time

Awards: Awards given to the overall male & female finishers, as well as the male & female first place winners in each age category.

Be Dave Brave is participating in the 2015 Lowndes Co. Relay for Life on Friday, May 1st at LHS before we go run our 5k in Thomasville the next day. Be sure to stop by and see us!

We participate to honor the life and legacy of our son, brother, friend, and husband, David Waldron whose life ended too soon on November 9th, 2014. We walk to remember David, and others who left us too soon, and align our efforts with ACS to save lives and celebrate more birthdays!

On behalf of Be Dave Brave, we would like to thank Trebor and Kate Marple, Valdosta Crossfit for organizing such an incredible hero WOD , and all participants both here in Valdosta and all other participating boxes for coming out Saturday to celebrate what would have been David's 32nd Birthday. We had such an awesome time, even though we can barely move a muscle now. We know David was looking down excited about how hard everyone pushed themselves and glad to know that the money raised will be helping others facing the battle with cancer.
